The bride paused to smile and waved to the cheering crowd before entering the church as darkness fell.
It is understood Miss Ferguson had hoped for service with candlelight for the wedding, which has reportedly been two years in the planning.
They then made their way through the church grounds to a rear exit, and it is understood they made their way on to nearby Cawdor Castle, where the wedding reception was being held.
The couple have two children, toddler Elwood and Willow Rose, who was born last November.
As they set off to take their acclaimed Wonderland tour from the UK to Australia, the boys are also preparing to present their new musical, The Band.
The musical was announced at a surprise launch at the 02 Apollo Manchester back in April.

The UK tour will kick off at Manchester Opera House in September, and ends at the Edinburgh Playhouse in July 2018.
